Lightweight and simple to use, heats quickly. i am not an important duty iron user, so this is perfect on behalf of me. Panasonic NI-E300TR U-Shape Steam Iron, White/Green end

Panasonic NI-E300TR

I'm a quilter therefore my iron gets lots of use. By "a lot", I mean 2-3 hours daily, 5-6 days every week. My last Panasonic continues to be operating when two and a half years, even when mistreatment. i don't empty the water when every use and i have gotten the only real plate sticky (that dang fusible web!).

This one is as simple to use because the different one. makers have finally discovered to position the fill opening so the iron may be stuffed vertically while not spilling. It glides smoothly over fabric, something you'd take as a right until you had an iron that doesn't.

The only issue i don't like is that (compared to my different Panasonic), there's a "wobble" once I place it upright. i think it's because this iron may be a bit giant for its base, and therefore the balance does not appear quite right. Another minor quibble has nothing to try and do with performance: makers ought to stop putting a plastic film on the only real plate. It's too simple to show the iron on while not looking at the only real plate, which I did. i'm thinking "What's that smell?" The film curled however didn't melt, therefore I didn't have to clean melted gunk off the plate.

I like the retractable wire, and therefore the dial is easy to read and in an accessible position. The water empties while not mess. i'll edit this review when I've used the iron awhile longer.
